Behind every name there’s a story, sometimes “humerus” (excuse the pun). Our’s is quite simply because there are 206 bones in the human body. A little bit of extra knowledge that will one day certainly come in handy at one of the many great pub quizzes in Birmingham and Bromsgrove.
Everything is in a name too? Well not quite. Physiotherapy is not just about bones. At PHYSIO 206, based in Birmingham and Bromsgrove, we are in fact more likely to treat the muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves that help co-ordinate and connect your 206 bones together.
In either our Birmingham or Bromsgrove clinic, at home or in the workplace PHYSIO 206 will provide you with a high quality professional physiotherapy service delivered in a simple, friendly and effective way.
We want you to feel listened too, treated well and above all else get great results that make you not just feel better but ultimately stay better. In your first session a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment will be undertaken and treatment provided. We will provide you with a clear diagnosis, prognosis and plan to help you to find a solution to your problem. It is recommended that on your first session you bring appropriate clothing for us to be able to assess you effectively (i.e shorts if you have a problem with your lower back and/or legs and a vest or suitable undergarment if a problem with your neck, back or arms). We need to be able to see and press on parts of your body to fully understand the problem. The above will be done with the utmost respect given to your privacy and dignity.
PHYSIO 206 is recognised by all the major private health insurers. This includes BUPA, AXA, AVIVA, CIGNA and VITALITY. We will bill them directly if you provide us with your membership number and authorisation code before your physiotherapy treatment commences. This is great news for you, the people of Birmingham and Bromsgrove, as it means you not having to put your hand in your pocket. We want it to be as convenient and as smooth a process for you as possible. However, please be aware that all patient’s are responsible for any insurance policy excess payments and for knowing the limitations of what their policy covers. It is the patient who is liable for any payments not covered by their insurance company. Please also be aware that we are not currently accepting NHS referrals.
